A recent commercial motor vehicle accident at the intersection of FM 1379 and CR 160 outside of Midland left one driver deceased. Four others in were in serious condition. An 18-wheeler ran the stop sign at the intersection and collided into a Dodge Ram with four passengers on board. The driver of the semi-truck was pronounced dead at the scene. The four other men were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
